Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer
Joe has been involved in the sale or purchase of over 50 companies ranging from $3 million to over $150 million in sales. He founded RVR Consulting Group, LLC, a full-service growth management and business solutions firm in Winter Park, Florida. As a Managing Partner of RVR, Joe has worked with companies across multiple industries. RVR focuses on advisory services, but also assists in the execution of the following departments: operations, sales, finance, M&A, technology, marketing and recruitment.
Joe is a pioneer in the staffing industry, successfully building and selling two staffing companies at a premium to the market. In 1986, Joe co-founded Transworld Services Group, a strategic staffing company that grew into a $45 million company with 4,000 employees in 10 years. In 1994, Transworld Services Group was rated Inc. Magazine’s 53rd fastest growing privately-held company and was named a member of the Golden 100 Top Private Companies in Orlando. Joe went on to facilitate the company’s ISO 9002 certification, attaining an international standard of quality reserved for a select few of the thousands of staffing companies worldwide. An initiative that gave the company widespread accountability, the certification served as a growth strategy. Transworld was later sold to Corestaff, a publicly-traded company, to assimilate its performance-based staffing model into Corestaff’s offices nationwide.
In 2002, Joe became President and 50% owner of Advantage Services Group, a $3.5 million construction staffing company. Over the next five years, ASG became a $150 million full-service performance-based staffing company with over 30 offices in 13 states. In 2007, ASG sold its business to a publicly-traded company, again at a premium to the market.
In 2010, Joe served as CEO of Crdentia, a healthcare staffing company, where he oversaw engagement through RVR. At Crdentia, he assessed the existing business operations, then implemented and managed a complete reorganization and growth strategy through Chapter 11, leading to the eventual sale of the business.
Outside of staffing, Joe is involved with a variety of charitable boards and community affiliations. In 2000, Joe and his wife founded the Conductive Education Center of Orlando (CECO), a non-profit center for children and adults with motor disabilities. CECO provides services to children and their families locally and worldwide. When Joe founded CECO, there were six students attending a summer class at a local church; now CECO serves 300 children a year, and is recognized as one of the largest conductive education centers in the country.
Aside from being Chairman and President of CECO, Joe remains a dedicated member at his alma mater, Rollins College, where he is a mentor to students and an assistant soccer coach for the soccer teams.
Joe lives in Winter Park, Florida, with his wife (Vicky) of 30 years and they have three children.
